The Radiofrequency Group of the INFN Frascati Labs is in charge of the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and upgrade of any aspect of the RF systems (cavities, power sources, power distribution, controls) of the Lab storage rings. The Group also contributes to other different aspects of the accelerator physics and technology such as beam dynamics and beam diagnostics studies and measurements, feedback systems, computer controls and machine operation.
The RF Group is also committed to the design, construction or acquisition and operation of the Low Level RF control systems and of the sub-picosecond synchronization systems of the modern accelerator projects involving the Frascati Labs Accelerator Division.
