The Cryo System Group is in charge for the operation, maintenance and development of the DAFNE Superconducting Sytems, consisting of a LINDE TCF 50 cryo-plant in a hybrid configuration (refrigeration and liquefaction mode), dedicated to the supply of supercritical Helium to the KLOE Superconducting coil and the four DAFNE Compenstor Magnets, in a 24/7 configuration shift. In addition, during more than twenty years of plant running, the Group has developed skills in design and procurement of very complex Cryogenic Systems and sub-Systems, including ancillary services and control devices.
